The PoshBee project, financed by the EU Horizon 2020, was presented to Moldovian, Bulgarian, Turkish, Romanian, and Ukranian beekeepers and representatives of beekeeping organisations on the International Fair of apiculture products Varna 2019. The event took place between 17 and 19 September 2019 in Varna, Bulgaria
Viktoria Nikolova, a manager of Varna’s district information point, introduced the PoshBee’s aims and new technologies as part of the best regional and international beekeeping practices and sustainable beekeeping and eco-agriculture discussions.
The organizers of the event confirmed that the fair was successful and the visitors expressed interest in the PoshBee’s expected outcomes for healthy bee populations, sustainable beekeeping and pollination across Europe.
